Ampirica LLC, was established in 2007 as a technology development and holding company. Ampirica continues to develop and commercialize its proprietary sensing technology for unsupervised, standalone and wearable applications designed to interface with the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as Smart Cities and Smart Homes systems.
Ampirica’s principals co-founded SEA Medical Systems Inc. in 2008 for commercialization of their novel fluid sensing technology for healthcare. In parallel, Ampirica is currently commercializing this technology for a broad range of environmental and consumer applications including early detection of water pollution, industrial-scale water treatment, in-house filtration monitoring and water quality control.
